Video Game News and Updates 003

GAMING WITH DEE – Video Game news and updates

                Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome back to GWD Extended Content’s Video gaming News and Updates. First off I would like to apologize for the long wait. Wednesday I had a doctor’s appointment, and Thursday was hunting for a new place. Time got away from me. With that being said I back, and bringing you the update for the 21st for June 2013. We have ONE TOPIC that I wanted to speak on yesterday but time got away from me.
Microsoft’s huge reversal

Microsoft

                After taking a quick trip to Xbox.com, I found something extremely interesting. As it turns out, it seems Microsoft did in fact listen to feedback. As what I’m about to tell you is from a post directly from Don Mattrick Himself which can be found at the link provided at the bottom of this segment. It seems I wasn’t too far off what I thought Microsoft would say to regain consumer trust. Stating,

“You told us how much you loved the flexibility you have today with games delivered on disc. The ability to lend, share, and resell these games at your discretion is of incredible importance to you. Also important to you is the freedom to play offline, for any length of time, anywhere in the world.”

As forth coming as this post is, I get this feeling of reluctance… As if he is saying, “This isn’t want we wanted to do, but because you guys won’t buy our product the way we want to make it, we will give you want YOU WANT.” I mean I’m already distrustful as it is, you can’t tell me they did any market study that suggested the vast majority or gamers WANTED to have region locks, WANTED to have restrictions on used games, WANTED to be forced to download all there games even if they bought them on disc, and WANTED to be forced into online play even for games that don’t require an online connection. I mean come on, EA’s fuck up with Sim City is still fresh on peoples mind. No one who games wants to be forced into a online situation when the game doesn’t call for it. To make a system based around the concept of always online DRM is the most flawed choice in gaming history. I’m sure some of you out there were behind this, as your half-baked ideals on gaming lead you to believe that the gaming industry needs these kind of restrictions if it’s going to survive.

While I will acknowledge Microsoft’s own acknowledgement of their mistake, this should have never happened. When they revealed the Xbox what happened to listening then. Why did it take feedback from E3 for them to set their wrongs right. Lets assume this change was brought on by the number of pre-orders for this console. This speak much loader then my blog, or anyone's blog, or vlogs, or any amount of noise we could create on the Internet. It’s the Internet, Microsoft can easily mark that up to fan boys are going to whine. So speaking of this as it is a result of E3, then it has to be pre-orders, the numbers are undeniable. Thing is that this is to major of a choice and there is evidence that suggest that this choice has been in the works since their reveal. For one, everything was a “probably scenario” Nothing gaming wise about this console had been finalized. This tells me that they were just testing to see just how gamers would react to their console. If they were going to go for it, then they were going to push forward with their console as was. Secondly the fact that at the Reveal and E3 the refused to talk about certain features, they even canceled several arrangements, and I can only guess it’s because they didn’t want to be questioned about choices they had not finalized yet. E3 was the big push they needed to know they fucked up, and the pre-orders were just icing on the cake.

Now that Microsoft has pulled themselves out of the dog house and into the yard, maybe we can get down to figuring out just which console is the better console. Maybe with this new development Sony will be forced to share more about the PS4, and not only that, but we will see breakthroughs in gaming innovation, as both console will compete for the best titles, with the best features. Console wars are good for business, In more ways than one, If Sony had been allowed to ride on by on this wave if PR bullshit created by Microsoft’s major fuck up, we may have been looking at future restrictions put into place but Sony, as they truly aren’t to be trusted anymore then Microsoft is. Consumers need to look out for consumers, PERIOD. The moment we allow even one of these companies to get away with murder, they will continue to do it, over and over and over again. As I stated before, DRM if used properly is effective it may not stop but it does slow the process of people getting things illegally. Microsoft’s choice to move away from DRM is quite possibly the greatest victory in Consumer activism that I’ve ever seen. This should be used as a prime example in the future, when looking for ways to get businesses and game developers to understand that we DON’T WANT THIS, that we mean it. Your money holds more value to companies then your Voice, See your voice starts the cycle, but if you don’t back it up with actions such as not pre ordering a horrid console, what good is our voice.

Picture this, what if someone like Jesse Cox stated he hated this new game coming out, it’s full to the brim with DRM, it developers have the most anti-consumer ideals, the game forces you in to situations and scenarios such as always being connect to the Internet, losing control of your own save files, the inability to trade in this game in the future to the auth key locking this version of the game to your account. The game is good, BUT MAN ARE THIS SOME HORRIBLE CHOICES DEVELOPMENT MADE. Picture him going on and on about his for weeks, rallying his followers from the Shaboozey Community and more to his cause. Just picture, everyone is speaking out telling friends and strangers that this game is bad it’s hellabad don’t get it when it comes out. Then the game is out, and Jesse releases a “Revenge of the Q&A” stating he bought this game to “give it a try.” Though this has never happened, if it did it would be terrible, Let explain why, He rose his voice and gained followers, but NOT ONE BIT OF THAT MATTERS AFTER THEY HAVE YOUR FUCKING MONEY. They don’t care if you don’t like the game, they have locked you in with DRM you can’t trade it back now. They don’t offer refunds, YOU KNEW WHAT KIND OF COMPANY THESE DEVELOPERS WERE RUNNING, but you gave them your money anyway. Nothing speaks loader then with holding your money from companies who will do anything to get it from you. At least that is how I see it.

So in this case, I believe we gained much more then we lost, as gamers and consumers. This was a victory for us, but stopping here when it seems gamers have just found out the best way to make their voices heard would be the greatest loss. As I stated before to a friend of mine, as gamers we are divided, and as long as we remain that way, we will NOT get what we want out of our games. Games are just not being made by gamers for gamers, we need to continue this, and not get big headed because we managed to get Microsoft to pull a complete reversal. As soon as we fall back, I PROMISE YOU Microsoft or Sony is going to pull something funky. That’s my opinion on the subject. Hope you learned something you didn’t and if your looking for the link it will be posted just below this paragraph. Thank you for your time and continued support.

Video Game News and Updates 002

GAMING WITH DEE - Video Game news and updates

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to GWD Extended Content’s Video gaming News and Updates for the 18th of June 2013. Today we will talk about;

  • XCOM is coming to iOS with a price tag of $20.

  • Dead Rising 3 will be more mature and sophisticated.

  • Avalanche Dev on game trading

  • Release round up

XCOM on iOS

We have known for a while that XCOM was coming to iOS with release date set for June 20th, what we didn’t know is how much it would cost. The price for XCOM is set at $20 in the states, 13.99 pounds in the UK, and 17.99 euros in Europe. Seems like a lot to ask for an iOS game right, it’s right up there with someone Square’s Final Fantasy games released for iOS. Before you jump on the band wagon, let me tell you this though, XCOM Enemy Unknown will be *almost* a direct port of the console and PC version of the game, with lower graphics and some limited map choices. Yesterday on gamespot a post stated that the title will launch on iPhone, iPod, and iPad Touch, with cloud connection to share saves between the three devices. Multiplayer however will not be available on launch, but will be added in a future update for the game, and will be free.

So what are my thoughts on this?... I’d buy it, I mean we aren’t talking about some casual iOS game, or app that they are trying to sell for $20 dollars. We are talking about a FULL game, sure lower graphic quality and fewer maps, but it’s going to be on the iOS. This game doesn’t require a controller to play, and to be honest it’s best on the PC in my opinion. I wouldn’t mind seeing more games where my effectiveness isn’t decreased without the use of a controller on the iPad, I don’t play many games on my iPhone, the screen isn’t big enough for me. My iPad however I can get into that. An as I said the price tag is reasonable. We are talking about a game that came out on pc and console for 50 to 60 dollars. An they are only asking for 20 dollars on iOS, SOLD, and give me more of this. Now if you can make it so that the games saved to cloud could be shared between pc and iOS, I’d go out and market the game FOR YOU.  What am I saying? I’m saying, give me more core games on the iOS that have some connectivity to my console and PC games, and I WILL PAY FOR THEM, an trust me, if I’m willing to shell out that 20 dollars for a iOS game that is a port of a core game, a NEARLY direct port (cause it won’t match graphics.) I promise you that there are more out there who are willing to shell out that 20 dollars.

Again this is a matter of choice, your choice to either get behind this and support it and bring this into the next generation, or whine about the price tag. I get it, not everyone has money to be throwing at games like that, and what may seem like spending money to some, is gas and lunch money to others. I get it trust me, I’ve been on both ends of the spectrum, and am currently balancing in the middle. Trust me I know. If you got the money BUY THIS and show them you want more of this, if not then raise your voice in petitions and blogs and let them know YOU DO WANT THIS. Core games on iOS that connect to cloud, and next gen systems that can connect to cloud, think about it, this could be the start of something. As for XCOM on iOS as I support this, will I actually buy it yeah, I don’t see why not, and I think you should too.

Dead Rising 3

When Dead Rising 3 was shown at E3 I have to admit I was rather disappointed with what I saw. I felt like the game was moving away from what I enjoyed about it the most in light of appealing to a more hard core audience. Sadly it seems like my fears were confirmed. To me and many others what set dead rising apart from other hardcore zombie survival games is that it had this zany over-the-top feel to it. I mean I beat a Zombies about the head with a large stuffed animal… COME ON tell me that doesn’t sound appealing to you. Sadly they are moving away from that. A report post on Destructoid stats that Dead Rising 3 is being aimed to appeal to call of duty fans.

If only you could hear me sigh right now. I really don’t know what to say about this, I mean it’s not like this is a reboot of the game, it’s not a brand new IP, Dead Rising had something all the other games didn’t, it had something that set it apart from all the other games. Now you’re telling me you want to change that to appeal to CALL OF DUTY FANS. Of all people CALL OF DUTY FANS, among all the tiers of gamers CoD fans are the lowest. You wanna talk about a game that doesn’t require a great deal of thinking to play look no further then CoD. This looks like nothing more than a cash grab to me because that is all CoD is, and people eat that up. I mean lets be real for a moment. CoD, Final Fantasy, Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, Pokemon, they all fall in the same tier of being the same game with minor changes to game play and story line. Why fix what isn’t broken, people eat it up, throw money at every single one of these titles when they hit the shelves and online stores.

My question is why shot yourself in the foot, I could see if this game was like DMC, mean I LOVED DMC LOVED IT, but the truth is the reboot WAS GOOD, sure it failed in certain area’s but it had a much better story, and it was much easier to follow and wasn’t full of plot holes. DMC needed a reboot, DEAD RISING HOWEVER DID NOT, thus it hasn’t received one, however dead rising 3 is moving away from everything that made that game enjoyable to me in the first place, had it have been similar I would have actually considered getting a Xbox One, I mean games like Dead Rising would have convinced me to get the console… I think this is a bad Ideal, but I won’t see until the game comes out and I have a chance to see the game play and hear what others who were fans of Dead Rising like myself have to say about it. Sorry Capcom but you haven’t sold this one to me… I won’t be convinced till I see more.

Avalanche Dev on game trading

A Developer from Avalanche Studio’s speaks on the reason why so many games are being traded in. He believes the reason why games are being traded in, is due to the fact that games are too short, or offer little motivation to return. Sundberd states;

“I’m sure it’s been an issue but that’s because games have been too short. I mean, when you can play a game through from 8 to 10 hours, I would return the game too, because there’s no reason for gamers to play it again.”

“If you’re offering little variation, then there’s no motivation for players to keep that game-unless they want to have a nice bookshelf. That’s why we answered that with Just Causes. I go into the game stores each week and go to the used game boxes- I usually don’t find that many [copies of Just Cause.]”

I honestly have to say I agree with this, it’s not just game size though, if the game itself is bad then I’m not going to want to keep it either. Depending what your making, make your game worthwhile, make it last more than 10 hours,  and make second and third playthroughs just as interesting as the first. Don’t try and keep people interested in the game with achievements making them play through the same old boring content a second and third time, add new bosses, no enemies, unlock certain area’s DO SOMETHING OTHER THEN POINTLESS ACHIEVEMENTS. It’s been a thing gamers have wanted for a while now, BIGGER GAMES , LONGER GAMES, BETTER GAMES. We have been saying this for years now, and they don’t listen. Listen when game stops employees ARE TOLD TO PUSH USED COPIES OUT BEFORE NEW COPIES, there has got to be a reason behind that. Instead of cracking down on the gamer for not enjoying the game, how about you look at what your giving to use before you try to force it on us eh?

Games coming out this week

Finally what we are going to do is take a look a games that are coming out this week, which sadly isn’t a lot, and they aren’t really much to shake a stick at anyway.

Dungeons and Dragons Chronicles of Mystara

First up we have Dungeons and Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara, A collection of Capcom’s classic arcade brawlers. This game will be released on PC, Wii U, PS3 and Xbox live. It’s looks pretty damn good, and I’m kind thinking about good it, they said it was coming to PC, but I don’t as I’ve searched on Steam and the page is blank, all It did was lead be back to the store.

Epic Mickey II

(vita)

Next we have Epic Mickey II finding its way to PlayStation Vita, if you’re a friend of mine in real life, you know I loved the first Epic Mickey, didn’t care for the second. This isn’t really a game I’m looking to pick up, but if you have a Vita and are looking for a game to play on it, and don’t mind the glaring differences between one and two or have never played one, I would suggest picking this up.

Knights of Pen and Paper +1 Edition

Knights of Pen and Paper +1 Edition is coming to PC, A retro inspired RPG made for iPhone and Android. It takes pen and paper styling to a more classic Final Fantasy approach. If you are into fantasy rpg’s and have a sometime to spare, I say pick this one up. Came out today if I’m not mistaken, it was pretty fun on iOS a lot of customizable things here, you actually do play as the guys who are playing the RPG, and can upgrade things in that effect the overall game play. Pretty neat if you want to try it out before playing it on PC I suggest getting on the iPad as I hate playing games on my iPhones smallish screen.

Jak and Daxter Collection

(PSNV and Vita)

One of my personal favorites The Jak and Daxter collection is making it’s way to PSNV (the PSN on the Vita) If you haven’t played this, I forgive you, but only if you go and pick this game up. Play through ALL OF THEM and then try to tell me they AREN’T fucking amazing. If you don’t like them, we have no further business. If you don’t know what Jack and Daxter is… wiki it… like why are you even here… stop let me stop it’s cool, your just a soulless human who had not childhood it’s cool… it’s a collection of three games A action RPG where you play as the main character Jak as you fight your way through various stages to find out the the mystery of Dark Eco which soon opens up to a much bigger story that is just so satisfying and amazing, and involves a Legacy that exist in their world called the Precursor Legacy. Get it play it and enjoy it, the first game is kinda slow, but the second one makes up for, mainly cause Jak isn’t a mute anymore. He speaks… and oh boy did I love his first words lol. I would suggest picking this one up if  you’re a old fan, or never played Jak and Daxter in which case it is already on the PSN for PS3 GET IT NOW IF YOU HAVE A PS3 if not, GET A PS4 WHEN IT COMES OUT, AND GET IT!!!!

Storm

Next we have a interesting little title called Storm coming to PS3 I don’t know much about this game other than what I was able to look up in such a short amount of time. Apparently you can manipulate nature such as wind, rain, lighting, and snow, to solve puzzles… at your own pace. Interacting with the land scape in season to lead a seed to a new home… it’s a puzzle game. If your into puzzle games ENJOY… as I stated it’s coming out for the PS3 if I’m not mistaken most US releases released TODAY and most release on Tuesdays anyway, if your overseas in the UK or Europe it will be out Friday.

Castlevanina Lament of Innocence

Next we have Castlevania Lament of Innocence, a PS2 classic coming to PSN along with Corvette Evolution GT also a PS2 classic coming to PSN, not a big racing fan, but the Castlevania games have always been a favorite of mine, I’m thinking about getting it just for old time’s sake, kinda to pass the time while I wait for other more exciting titles to drop.

New Super Luigi U

New Super Luigi U is coming to the eShop for the Wii U… Where do they come up with these names, and my god, Nintendo just loves the Mario brothers don’t they. We will never see an end to the two will we. I don’t know though I haven’t played a Mario game in the last few years, I think I might get this later on after I’ve beaten or gotten bore with some of the games I’m currently playing for reviews, and leisure. I mean come on who doesn’t enjoy a solid Mario or Luigi title, and it’s about time Luigi gets some more love Mario is always hogging the spot light.

Magrunner: Dark Pulse

Next up we have Magrunner: Dark Pulse coming out for the PC another puzzle game, dear god, you play as Dax one of the seven Magrunners participating in an elite space training program under the gaze of the MagTech Corporation, however, the program quickly turns into a Lovecraftian nightmare… wut??? Not my kind of game, I don’t care if your into it it’ll be out on the 20th.

Max Payne 3

(Mac)

Lastly we have Max Payne 3 coming to the Mac on the 20th as well. This game has been out since the 15th of May if memory serves me right, and came out on pc the 1st of this month, well it’s coming to macs in two days, if you can’t wait, or not a PC gamer, it’s out on for PS3 and Xbox 360. You should already know what Max Payne is, this time I’m seriously not going to tell you what it is, if you don’t know WIKI IT.

Well ladies and gentlemen that is it for today’s video game news and updates, join me tomorrow for more. I’m sorry todays came out so late, I had to help some move out their house… long story, short, I now have a burning hatred for stairs. ANYWAY that’s it thank you for your continued support and time, and I’ll try to get the next one out at a more convenient hour. Good night.

Video Gaming News and Updates 001

GAMING WITH DEE - Video Game news and updates

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to GWD Extended Content’s first Ever Video gaming News and Updates. Today we will talk about;

  • Planetary Annihilation Alpha on sell for 90 Dollars
  • Ubisoft is asking PC gamers to show support and interest in a PC version of The Division
  • Kingdom Hearts 3 Development
  • Minor change in the choice for Video game news and updates.

PLANETARY ANNIHILATION

Alright let’s get this thing started shall we, first off I want talk to you about Planetary Annihilation. Supposedly the spiritual successor to Total Annihilation, Planetary Annihilation is an upcoming real-time strategy game developed by Uber Entertainment. Most of the team from Total Annihilation and Supreme commander are said be behind the Development of this game. HOWEVER there happens to be a major hiccup with this game, after a successful kick starter the game moved to Steam where they are asking for 90 DOLLARS for early access, which is significantly more than how much the finished product of the game will cost. Many people slammed Uber for being greedy, and rated the game poorly on Meta Critic, despite not being finished, and clearly being in alpha. Eventually Meta Critic took the page down, but that isn’t the real problem.

            The problem here isn’t so much that the game cost 90 dollars to get early access to the alpha, but more about gamers feeling entitled to something for less than what others have paid to gain access. See on Planetary Annihilation’s Kick Starter, they offered access to the Alpha of the game for 90 dollars while access to the beta was set at 40 dollars, and one could get a finished copy of the game at 20 dollars. Considering that Alpha is a long way from finished and may even be a long way from Beta. I have to wonder, why the 90 dollar price tag for Alpha, I mean IT’S ALPHA full of bugs and broken code, I mean I’ve played a lot of Alpha’s and some them out right just don’t work.  I’ll get into this a bit later, because while I don’t fully support their choice of price I do support the action of charging gamers the same price from kick starter to Steam.

            The fella’s over at Uber stated the reason for this 90 dollar price tag was in fact because their Kick Starter Tier offered access to the games Alpha starting at 90 dollars (of course this access was included should you have desired to pledge more than 90 dollars.) Here is the truth; Uber is in the RIGHT here, not the wrong. It is anti-consumer and just plain stupid to put out access to the Alpha on steam for less than what you offered on kick starter after the success of your Kick Starter. If they had done such, they stand to lose a lot of support for those who backed them from the very beginning and sadly I don’t believe that losing that support in exchange for those who want it for less on steam is a good trade off. It would be a bad business practice on their part; sadly because gamers feel they are entitled to something for less simply because they don’t do any research on the games they are about to purchase and/or play, Uber is left with a catch 22 situation. Either they lose or they lose, one way or the other they are going to have one pissed off party, one party pissed at the price tag of 90 dollars, or the other party pissed they had to pay 90 while the crybabies on steam got access for much less.

            HOW EVER charging 90 dollars to for access to an alpha is still a bit out there. Like I said previously I’ve played a number of games still in alpha, as well as games that only offer beta access, the reason being is because most early access games are significantly cheaper, thus making early access seem more appealing as the price is more reasonable. A cheaper price would appeal to a lot more, and would no doubt have brought them in more sales. However this is early access we are talking about here, access to a game that doesn’t properly work if it works at all in some cases, your technically getting involved in the games development at this point. Thing is that games cost a significant amount of money to make, so was the choice to put this game on steam for the same price point wrong? NO, they rose a little over 2mil and I highly doubt that is going to be enough. What steam is, is a just a way to generate more revenue to complete their game. The controversy over the 90 dollar price tag could have been avoided by simply not putting this game up on steam till a working beta version of the game had been developed. Which would have been significantly cheaper than alpha access, but who’s to say that they didn’t need the money to complete the beta. Like I said it takes a lot of money to make a game, “Why?” You may ask, well either you have to outsource to contractors to do the work you cannot, in which case you have to pay them a lot of money, or you stick with your staff of developers and higher on new staff. NO MATTER HOW YOU LOOK AT IT, you still have to pay people for their work. An game developers get paid pretty nicely for their particular skill set. I personally don’t have a problem with them opening up and offering early access on steam they need the money, and steam is a great way to get it. I DO NOT believe anyone has the right to complain about early access to a game, I’ve remember when you NEVER got access to a games alpha, let alone the beta, now developers are throwing gamers a bone, and all they can seem to do is complain about the price that they have to pay. Yes 90 dollars is a bit ridiculous but never the less people are still paying for it. It’s a choice, if you want early access as well as access to the beta and a copy of the game when it release’s then shell out the 90 dollars, if not, please just shut up and wait till the beta comes out, it’s literally that simple.

The Division

Developers of the game The Division, Ubisoft states that there will only be a PC version made if there is a demand for it. If there is a major amount of support the game, it will find its way to PC and 50,000 PC gamers rise to the challenge hitting the forums, and create petitions to show Ubisoft that they really want this game.

            What is The Division you may be wondering, as I know I was when I heard what Ubisoft was saying? Tom Clancy’s (yes that’s right this game is a Clancy) The Division is a up and coming MMO-ish third person shooter, with action rpg elements, developed by Ubisoft Massive for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, it was one of the surprise hit announcements made during Ubisoft’s E3 2013 Press conference. The Division is a game based in a world where we DIDN’T stop the terrorist. The player becomes the last line of defense, sent out to do whatever they have to, to save what remains. The game is pretty big, taking place in the greater NY area, and in Machinima’s talk with the dev.’s, they claim that if the demand for content is there, they will continue to deliver.

            The issue is this, why is Ubisoft demanding PC gamer’s show their support for a PC version of a game. All of Ubisoft’s core games eventually found their way to PC, if they weren’t on PC at launch they were eventually ported over. I can’t really any instance where Ubisoft had a decline in PC sells, so exactly why are they doing this? I mean in a sense this is forcing gamers who prefer to play on the PC to go out and raise awareness for the game for Ubisoft. I could understand that if Ubisoft wasn’t known for making some brilliant pc ports as Massive is already known for, but as I just said, Massive is already know for doing stunning games on the PC. I just don’t see a clear reason behind this. I feel like I’m missing something somewhere, but no matter where I search I keep seeing the same thing, no major decline in PC sells, yet Ubisoft has made this choice. Never the less THIS IS REAL, they are asking for you guys to go out and raise support, instead of doing it themselves. I can’t think of any reason for this, not a single one. Needless to say, I’ll be getting this game for the PS4 regardless of if it comes out on PC or not, I hate playing FPS on my PC personally, and enjoy them more on console.

Kingdom Hearts 3

            This next bit is just me following the Kingdom Hearts 3 Development. I will be checking in on it weekly, as it is a major title that I actually care about, and one of the biggest reasons I’m getting a PS4, (other than the fact that Microsoft has lost their GOT DA… let me stop… it’s cool it’s cool.) MOVING ON. After Kingdom Hearts 3’s Trailer was shown at E3 Kingdom Hearts 3’s Director Nomura talked about the games current development. From the article I read this game isn’t even NEARLY close to coming out. Nomura stated;

“Since the release of Kingdom Hearts 2, I believe that many fans were feeling impatient due to our continuous spin-off titles, so we decided to announce it at the same time as Final Fantasy XV. However, looking at the current development status, I think we may have announced it a little too early.”
Can’t say that came as a surprise, I figured it didn’t the trailer didn’t cover much game play at all, and was much shorter than FFXV’s trailer. Although the games visual were said to be solid there haven’t made much in the progress of the games actually development. What we do know is that this game will feature an old Sora now a Keyblade Master, faster and stronger than ever before. This is actually something I was hoping for, not only do I crave a good story that makes sense, but character development is equally important. Nomura Replied to the question about Kingdom Hearts 3’s action and how it has evolved, saying;

“At this moment, we actually have a working demo version… and it’s really wild. The ‘bold action’ has become even greater. Kingdom Hearts 3 features a party of 3, but you’ll also have different NPCs join in the battle in the other worlds, and the action is pretty flashy. You’ll be flying all over the place in aerial combat without ever having to land.”
            However I have to say, in the current state, I don’t think we will see or hear much about this game for a while. Having a working demo of combat and a working demo of the game are two different things. All I can say is that rather it’s PS4 or Xbox One, Square has a chance here that they didn’t have before. Kingdom Hearts 3 has a chance to be the grandest and largest of the 3 core releases. Next Gen console will allow them to do so much more. An I look forward to actively following this game through its development. I have a lot of high hopes not just for the game play elements of this game, but the story as well. While little is known at this time, I’m sure they will pull out the twist and turns the further they move into development, after all this is kingdom hearts we are talking about here.

Changes to Video game News and Updates

            This isn’t that much of a big thing, just I figured I’d be best to get this out of the way now then to actually make a whole new post and waste your time with it there. Instead of once a week, I’ll be bringing you news and updates on anything I can find EVERY WEEKDAY, that is Monday – Friday. I don’t work weekends an any news I find or hear on over the weekend will be in the follow Mondays News and Updates. The format that I’m bringing it to you will remain the same, each day I will cover at least 3 to 5 topics that I find interesting. I’ll be doing this, as well as playing the games requested for reviews, researching the games, writing and editing the reviews, and gaming news and updates, and as well as eventually (when my pc gets fixed) recording videos. If for any reason I decide NOT to bring you news and updates for any period of time, you will be informed here as well as my twitter and tumblr. The links to all of my content will be provided at the end of every post as well. Thank you for your time and continued support
